Quiet Storm

I hear your words
preaching that you're saved
but are you really safe
or just a flag you've waved.

I trust and believe too
keep "Him" firmly in arm
always there's a battle
a sort of quiet storm.

Never take forgranted
the power of the angst
all pleasantness is not
blessed by the saints.

Don't ever look too far
beyond where you be today
cause over yonder, always
might cause one to stray.

Just remember that true
blessings are normally warm
and no matter who you are
there is always a "Quiet Storm".
