Love's Serenade

(In Response To Titch's Winged Dreams)

"The countless links, strong!
And when I hear your song
as a thousand gates unbolted at dawn",
we lay stretched on passion's lawn.
Blind to all the non believer's thought
amazed at the power love has rought
floating amist the seranading sound
like "ten thousand" violins around.
We fuse together as one true soul
creating a story as yet to be told
and in our united state of flight
we are lifted, all the way out of sight;
soaring toward the heavens above
touching all with our story of love
till the most brilliant explosion appears
filling our hearts with joyful tears.
Showing the universe love has grown
to mighty heights of which we've flown
beyond the brightness of passion's fire
stoked by the flames of love's desire;
"an endless dance of love's matched truth"
exceeding the imaginings of any of youth.
"Blessed thought, dare any one restrain",
our promise to return to serenade again.
And all you doubters, you fail it seems
to imagine the love in "Winged Dreams",
though I prefer in our passionate parade
to call it a trip through... Love's Serenade.
