And I Fished

While they argued and pointed fingers
I fished

While they called each other names
I fished

While they added lousy descriptions
hey, I fished

Damn that catfish was good.

The president said the sky was falling
vote for this and it will stop.
I fished.

The congress heard from the people
then voted against the proposal
I fished.

Some cast their line farther than others
they caught the will of the people.
And I fished

Her Touch

Anytime
she touches me
I get warm
like a lamp.
when her lips
touch mine
I seem to slip
into an
euphoric state.

When her mouth
engulfs me
I lose all
sense of time
and
when her tongue
wanders
cross my body
I faint
into a deep
sensuality
until
the whole world
fades from view.

She always explodes
any fantasy I might have
then creates new ones
to forment like a
fine wine

Her touch is magic
and no less a
wonderful emotional
journey anytime.

In Rays Of the Sunrise

I see us fishing at day break
watching the sun crest the hill
The water is soft and soothing
the other surroundings still.

We need not stare
in each others smiling eyes
The message is secured
in rays from the sun rise.

Our lines drift in the water
lapping like a low organ tune.
We sharing nature's touch
together like fed from a spoon.

Your scent wafts in the air
high above nature's perfume
reaching over to me
like a fresh rose bloom.

This scene we create
in the middle of a morning view
entangles emotions with no words
like a butterfly and morning dew.

Don't Fret My Love

Don't fret my love
I am here for you always
holding on to the tether
we made for such days

Don't allow pain or doubt
to fuzz up your mind
just hold on to the thought
I love you in kind.

Forget the sorries
and apologies too
hold on tight to the fact
I am still loving you

Don't let any outside force
ruin your time away
I look forward to your return
counting off each day.

Don't fret my love
I am as you plead
to embrace you, love you
with all that you need.

I Am Here, Come Get Me

I am here come get me
you've wanted me so long
for years you begged
to join in a love song

Now is the time
lest's see what we make
Making myself available
for you to have and take

I am here
come get me

Do with me as you wish
shall I wait on my knees
lay flat on my back or
are you just a tease

All those things you've said
when I was safely held
were they just your way
of wishing we could meld

I am here
come get me

Why hesitate now
when you fed me such a line
now that I am free
no longer speak so fine

What is it
did you come to a spot in jest
pretending, hoping
you'd be better than the rest

I am here
come get me

The entanglements
you so easily created
now dangle on a limb
failing to make me sated.

What is it you lack
the brave spirit must be gone
now that I am sitting here
you refuse to get it on.

I am here
come get me

All those years of begging
I took note of your pain
now I am being available
seemed to have gone insane

What's up with that
a sudden bout with fright
now that I am making ready
to share a lustful night

I am here
come get me

That talk about your tongue
the magic of each touch and feel
were they imaginations of jealousy
when you knew it could not be real

Come on woman, I am here
why break the cycle at this time
Might it be you were in a lustful fog
upon reading my lover's poems of rhyme.

I am here
come get me.

Magnolia Hill

Your scents surrounds me
enhancing passions brew.
Senses awake from stirrings
of lingering thoughts of you.

My mind plays a scene
a repeat of dreams delight.
As stars twinkle on high
I long for you tonight.

The night seems to wear on
in a sensual basking glow.
Plays a tune of enchantment
you taught me how to know.

As I revel in this thought
that dream alive, so real.
No other encounter, so touching
as you, on Magnolia Hill.

I Waited

woman, I'm been waiting on you
till life finally turned the pages
it's never been just days or years
but more like many ages.

you actually showed up
after lifetimes have gone by
we're no longer a thought
or simply a twinkle in an eye

our spirits met so long ago
then danced around a tree
speaking of when life changed
getting ready for you and me.

I never had a doubt
that our time would come
its just it took so long, yet
spirits didn't grow numb.

I have waited eons for you
hoping life wound down like mine
we could finally dance and twirl
on the first mountain top we find.

oh dear, spirits are wonderful
they kept us both up to date
with all the possibilities
it was hard in that long wait.

now, a new beginning is here
we can radiate as love so dictate
not another soul has the ability
to run interference or negate.

we are free as the stars or
Lady Moon perched .in her frame
Oh, I'm so glad I waited
cause you finally came.
