A Cognac Sort of Day

The dream continued to brew
sleep stayed quite far away
the shower didn't cool the tide
I had a cognac sort of day.

The several cups of java
dark and sweet to the taste
served to charm the feel
and stockpile on my waist.

The lumber truck was late
forklift needed to be greased
but felt so lightheartedly free
all day I stayed so pleased.

Architect's changes wrong
rarely believes what I say
still, I wore joy on my sleeve
in my cognac sort of day.

Mahogany hanging all the while
long tresses and big breast
mingled thru my thoughts
among normal mental tests.

Drenched in a sweating pool
panting like a thirsty dog
rewinding the heated passion
blinded in its sensual fog.

I stumbled thru in pleasure's mire
so appreciate the feel this way.
Gotta give you hugs and kisses
for giving me a "cognac sort of day".

Mmm...ya think she might have felt the same, huh?  That tipsy kind of feeling makes you do some really strange things...like skip, or sing, or.....  A very cool thing to pen for your lady!

Hugs!

Dear Spencer,
Reading through this piece almost makes you visible to the eyes. Your relaxed smile, you calm composed wisdom in sharp contrast to your tremendous passion. :). SO YOU! You big man of a delightful mix of things!
Happy writing
