Hello Journal Land. Seems its time to do another group write like we did once before. It brought a lot of writers out of our closets and helped with new interaction within Journal Land. This time the topic to write on is:
You Touch My Heart When You ......

Hello J Landers
The time is getting close to end the present group write on the same topic which will end at the end of day on Wednesday August 17. Anyone who planned to but hasn't already posted their link on the "You Touched My Heart" title your time is running out. You know we are all anxious to read those gems being posted. Come closer now, I'm letting you in on a little secret. Tina, is anxious to get started on the next title which she selected "MY WORLD AS I KNEW IT" which will start promptly following this one and run for two weeks.
Just love reading all these creations on the same subject and I love sharing verse.

You touched my heart...
You touched my heart when you said you loved me the first time.
It wasn't with your voice but with your words typed online.
You touched my heart when you said you would love me forever.
Little did I know forever would come so soon ... or that I would spend
many, many, nights crying and cursing you.
In my heart I knew it was the right thing to do, as with both belonged to others and cheating was a risky avenue. Oh sure we talked about it, wrote about it and even dreamed about it ... but then again, if we couldn't have each other forever ... it had to end.
You touched my heart, my soul and my mind.
Another love like you I will never find.
Our love was so powerful and undeniably strong. With nobody had I ever felt such a bond.
You touched my heart with so much joy. I wouldn't trade that for anything...not even to erase my pain. If I were to erase my pain then I'd would have to erase you ... and that is something I could never do.
I keep my memories of you buried deep inside my heart and pull them out when I think I can enjoy them without falling apart. Sometimes they make me smile and other times they make me cry.
I once said my last thoughts on this earth would be of you, and that remains true. I love you still ... and will until the day I die...

You could probably make a poem, using mostly (if not only) the titles for your other poems. *Heehee* Sorry, that thought popped into my head and was screaming to be said. :) And for all reading, YES I KNOW I AM CRAZEY. You somehow touched me
though miles away from here
an ocean and mountains away
still you seem close, so near.
You somehow touched me
pleased the inner self and soul
and though I long to see you
thoughts of you are like gold.

passion stoked the oven of desire
