After Midnight

After midnight and she's sleep
watch as she breathes another world
as if the whole universe is gone
while my mind dances and twirls

mine own  thoughts linger
to where we used to be
on mountain passes
and the shores of the sea

In our world of love
as well as dreams we had
I'm missing her presence
while feeling a little sad.

Yet, I know deep inside
in her world-like abyss
resides the residue
of our former life of bliss

Good evening....I was out of town and I sure missed your poems. I am glad to be home for that....I need a few good ones to warm me it rained on the trip so I need some poems to warm me up now that I'm trying to thaw out.

Spencer,
I've come to your pages tonight, to be humbly astounded as always when I read your emotions and words. Thank you for this shining light.

with broken heart in hand,
spencer's world still stands,
with love he spreads everywhere,
he always knows his friend "sue" is there,
with her shoulder as he's done for her,
she loves him with friendship love, as he does her.
this precious little piece of him,
shows how much of him he's given.
he lovingly reviews their life,
with unconditional love for his wife.

luv ya much, dear one !
