Comforter of Love

There's a tenderness
I find in your ways.
Something special
like a sugary glaze.

A sort of sweetness
I can't get my finger on.
Deep down within
emotions are born.

There's a vulnerability,
a good bit of sensitivity,
a certain level of gentility,
creating my tranquility.

A pleasantness I relish
touches of pure joy.
All sorts of emotional
droplets, you employ.

There's a tenderness
you push and shove.
Draping me in a soft
comforter of "Love".

Your poetry is so fluid, it moves like a river through one's soul. Very nice...some of the stuff I've been writing lately is upsetting because I feel so bad about Terri Shiavo so it's affecting my writing too...thanks for letting me read something that raised my spirits....Sandi

This ireaches that soft place inside most of us keep walled up.

To be wrapped in love
embraced and warm
the feel of arms security
to shelter from harm

Touches you give
the lightness of touch
shows adoration's bounty
and yearning as such

A deep warmth emanating
for your pen and quill
shows us all
that you love where you will.....

Love the honey-warmth of this!

Hugs,
Chris
