This write is different from your usual. I like "but I did it anyway"......sounds like something I would do. Myke
you are such a great poet Spencer!! i hope that one day you'r poetry goes to the next level!! i also write poetry i belive that if you know how to go deep into your heart , like you did, and find that stuff that really matters in live you have the biggest creative imagination. and i hope that as you go on in life that the gift of wonderful writing will stay in you heart. because no one can take that gift away, but you. keeping it locked up is the only way it gets lost. sharing it makes it grow bigger. My art teacher once said to me " creativity only stays strong when your a kid, but if you want that creativity to stay with you as you grow up, then be original. be crazy. be the person that you truly are. and dont be afraid to show how sensitive you are or how coragious you may be." i never felt so inspired. and ever since then i have been more true to myself. knowing i could lose something so important to me. my love for the arts.
Man, Spencer, you must have been reading my mind when you wrote this. Sometimes I believe I should have this tattooed across my forehead. Loved it!!!
