Minority

I been knocking
knocking on that door.
Wearing down, bitterly
till my fist are now sore.

May as well give in
treat myself with disdain.
The trauma of the outside
drenches like cold rain.

Reckless laughter
jokes from the majority.
Deems me second class;
I am a minority.

Sue, and to all who read this write.This came about as a result of my recent court appearance as a result of the actions of the park ranger I wrote about in the poem, The Park Bench. Seems he is no longer patrolling due to more than one such complaint filed against him and I hear he is now on a trash collection team. The recall of this incident which happened back in May just caused me to mull over it and remind myself of where I stand with some people no matter what I do. It also was the cause for the write DWB as well. Always than you for your support.
Blessings
Spencer
