I Can See You Sleep

I can see you asleep
laying cross the daybed
poor baby, tired and worn
images dancin in your head.

I put a light blanket on you
protect you from the chill.
Stand and look pleasantly
accepting your view's thrill.

You need know my thoughts
awash in your radiant glow.
Looking as your breast rise
like the seas ebb and flow.

You ought to know just how
you challenge my heart and soul.
Just being yourself strikes me
like a filled loving pot of gold.

Do you bake cookies in a hollow log
like the Keebler's bakers do?
Is the flour in your pantry magic
needing no yeast for rising too?

Are you the most astute of butchers
carving the juicest cuts of meat
or the master of herbs and spices
concocting a flavorful treat.

can't get enough of your presence
the most filling sense of all I've had
nor rest from your driving essence
with its tingling, both good and bad.

I'm standing here watching you sleep
so amazed at the beauty of your gait.
Longing for a touch from you
trying hard but impatiently I wait.

Can't help but smile at what I see
my lover's breath rising majestically
and the fog of her pleasures thrill
as I stand and bath in her sensuality.

I can see you asleep
laying cross the daybed
poor baby, tired and worn
images dancin in your head.

I love me some you

You stand there and you watch,
not knowing what I dream,
I know this to be the honest truth,
for if you did there is no way,
you could stand there and
impatiently wait.
