Confused Dreams

Last night I fell asleep
turns out to be a shame.
I dreamed strictly of you
I whispered out your name.

As you were dreaming of Salad
mine was not nearly the same.
There was some French in it
I whispered out your name.

Oh, the confusion in my dreams
was quite leafy when you came.
Yearnings exploded to a dressing
I whispered out your name.

Last night I fell asleep
I whispered out your name.

I ordered up a salad, looking foward to the taste
of crisp fresh greens, tomatoes, and leaving naught to waste
but in the mix I saw in time one small green worm acrawlin'
hard to keep one's tastebuds primed when green worm comes a callin'

Sorry, Siren and Del Cano, just couldn't resist (ha ha).

I imagine the delight must be all Siren's . . . a wonderful write, Del Cano. Your collaborations are some of the finest.

Sincerely,
Naia
