Just A Short Delay

I certainly can tell
you blossomed here today
as each petal unfolds
exposes more of you that way

Bright and thrilling
a picture of rebirth.
Firmly rooted in knowing
you are the salt of my earth.

So glad you stand tall
with a strong will to say
I am making a new life
with "Just A Short Delay."

When I Look In Your Eyes

When I look in your eyes
I can see forever
as passion pours out
like God pulled a lever.
The looming waves
drench like the sea;
infinitely reflecting
tranquility to me.

When I look in your eyes
see forever in my view
It's depth spreads softly
like drops of morning dew.
For every look is but
a wonderful striking pose.
I see forever in your eyes
not another soul knows.

Infinitely Connected (A Photo Challenge)

We are connected with infinity
from where ever it got started
from all of life's journeys we tote
our burdens only half hearted.

Many disavow the relationship
claiming they are actually alone
but I know the creator would not
set such a blatantly negative tone.

No matter where we reach
can't stray too far from the source
but still some close their minds
though I yell till I get hoarse.

I'm not going to relax till
more feel the reflected power
that our finger tips touch
with every passing hour.

Grab Hold To Prodical Ease

Enduring footprints will surely know
to watch you dance in amber glow
as fireflies captive, with friendly eyes
dangle bits of light which hypnotize.
Awoke from sleep with blowing flute
sweet harmonies endearingly cute
tapped the powers which be on the head
perhaps their hearts too can be fed
but if they fail in seeing the magic
I feel their hearts have fallen tragic
from greenery and wherein may rest
too much of life's bare tenderness
for all which seek the way to fly
must point their hearts up to the sky.

So merrily, the night long dance
can touch not only full romance
but simply the  prodigal of ease
hums loving tunes which please
the shallowest hearts which drift
might count it also as a gift
for a state of pardoning giving
to make life much better in living
and as  for all  the human race
needing  a glow on their face
I say look, watch up in the sky
you'll see festal nights drifting by
and if you wish to join the happy fray
open your hearts each and everyday.
Titch and Del Cano say to you, please
grab hold of heaven's "Prodigal Ease".

{Inspired by Titch's
words from "Prodigal Ease"}

Happy Tears

Like a door being opened
after being stuck for years
you stepped in, touched me
while I cried happy tears.

I let them tumble down freely
cascading from the tip of my lips
like a mighty waterfall rolling
or like big city news clips.

Yes, behind the closed door
my heart had been hidden
packed away like a dowry
to which love was forbidden.

You are the sunshine
the stars, Lady Moon
The clear blue sky
my midnight swoon.

You are that ocean wave
rolling in from infinity
planting kisses galore
with not a taste of salinity.

You are the masseuse
with comforting fingers.
The flavor of love I taste
as your presence lingers.

You are the potion
brewed strictly for a king
pouring out your royalties
the best of any Queen.

I sigh from total pleasure
at the radiance you glow.
Just the knowledge of you
keeps me craving you so.

Baby, you opened that door
tossed out my hidden fears.
Embraced me in your love
can't help but cry happy tears.

From This Mountain Top

From this mountain top
I can see far and long
From this pedestal perch
I broadcast her song.

Thru her forever eyes
and deep well of a heart
I see infinity's touch
as she gave me a new start

Have you seen a wave
roll in from the swell's beat
then softly lap and kiss
your ankles and your feet

Likened to her caress
the ocean wraps around
then seems to whisper
in a sweet cooing sound

The mountain is her soul
the ocean her broad desire
forever, her eyes, so striking
her touch, my burning fire

Caught Heaven In My Net

Maybe
when I am so old
and feeble
and have trouble
holding a pen
or punching keys
on a PC
I'll consider
publishing.
Till then
just let me sit
in my jon boat
on the river or a lake
and while fishing
and looking at nature
I'll see
and write poetry
and drop dead
in my poetic haven.

Got to be
on the waters,
one of the most
sensual of places.
Got to have it surround me.
Its like being hugged by God
as well as nature.
The soft hum of the waters
stirs my soul
brings a peace
no other place can do;
the rustling of the trees
and the swaying grass
spark up a tune
no orchestra can play
and not the sweetest
of a soprano voice
can mimic the songs
of the waters.
Even if I catch
not one fish
I caught heaven
in my net.
I breathe a sigh
of soft surrender
and thru all the hell
life puts us thru
it renews my spirit
and lifts me
to a joyful level

I have yet to find....
elsewhere.
