I sit with mug in hand
a thrilling picture in mind
immersed in peaceful thoughts
beyond the realms of time
space and matter gone
stilled by the wave of you
fluttering in majestic order
as I drink this heated brew
a friendly gesture I make
whilest sipping warm desire
starting a new day again
blessed by your fire.
