in the garden
at the lilac bed's edge
gazing below...
Is there
A memory sweet
buried in
the well below...
She sighs
the bird flies
seeking rapture
in the nearby grove
The wind passes sweetly
o'er teh gentleman's brow
touching him
ever so gently;
like as if
his whim
was to be cradled there
at the lilac bed's edge
